This is Carla Bruni, whom  – if you’re up on your NPR and BBC you’ll know – just married French President Nicolas Sarkozy. She’s a model, singer etc, etc – basically because she’s inordinately rich having grown up in boarding schools and luxury due to her family’s ties to Pirelli and other fortunes.
