Luke Skywalker (actor Mark Hamill) says he envies the the actors who worked on the Star Wars prequels because they got to be near Natalie Portman. He even admitted that he finds Natalie more attractive than Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia.

The party-loving pair rocked up in the wee small hours and plonked themselves down beside her in the VIP area.
Furious Aggy gave them a killer stare and turned her back before bailing out soon after, leaving them to rule the dancefloor.

The gorgeous gatecrashers stayed until the bitter end then snuck out with jumpers over their heads to hide their bleary eyes from snappers like true party professions.

If the recent rumors and one slip-up by a cast member are true then Natalie Portman will be starring as Indiana Jones’ daughter in the upcoming fourth installment of the film series. I for one am pretty excited for this next film.

The Perfect Storm star Karen Allen, who is expected to reprise her Marion Ravenwood role in the upcoming Indiana Jones movie, let the news slip about Star Wars heroine Portman at a question-and-answer session in New York on Friday.

Allen spoke to Indiana Jones fans after a screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark, and, although she was coy about her own part in the fourth film, she revealed Portman’s name is being mentioned.

She told fans, “I just heard Natalie Portman was cast as Indy’s daughter.” (source)

I am a huge fan of the Indiana Jones movies and I’m glad to see that the Lucas/Spielberg synergy will continue with this film by casting Lucas alum Natalie Portman to star along side Ford, Connery and Karen Allen. Karen Allen was amazing as the gravelly, hard drinking Marion in Raiders, but I think that’s mostly because she was gravelly and hard drinking in real life. Natalie Portman has shown fine range in her career (excluding Star wars) and I think she’ll make a fine addition to the cast.
