Former Miss Nevada, Katie Rees is back in the news for scandalous behavior. This time, instead of girl-on-girl nudity in a bar she just got plowed and talked shit to the cops.

Rees, who lost her crown in 2006 after racy photos of her emerged on the Internet, was arrested shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday after she allegedly elbowed and kicked officers who pulled her over on a traffic violation, Las Vegas Metropolitan police told the station. (source)

[Katie] was recently rushed to Las Vegas’ Spring Valley Hospital when friends feared she may have overdosed on drugs. Emergency room doctors ruled out an overdose but discovered she’s had far too much to drink. “She’d been out partying with a bunch of pals at a nightclub and was really wasted, totally out of it,� said an insider.  (source)

Miss America and former party girl Tara Conner is out of rehab and into spinning some PR. Matt Lauer of the Today Show will get the only scheduled live interview on Thursday and a taped interview for Dateline will air Thursday night. In a pre-interview statement picked up by E! news, Tara expounds on being a role model, finding inner peace and her stint in rehab.

“I would not change my past, because it gave me my future,” she told NBC News in preparation for her chat with Lauer. “I learned the tools to live a clean and sober life of recovery. From rehab, I gain sobriety.” (source)

Miss New Jersey Ashley Harder has stepped down from her throne, stating she is pregnant. Jesus, condoms should be these girls’ platforms. Especially that Miss Nevada, she’s a dirty, dirty girl.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports that the 20-year-old Harder has voluntarily stepped down, because it’s against pageant rules to compete while pregnant. (source)

We didn’t have high glamor beauty pageants in my hometown, unless you consider the Miss Vidalia Onion Festival a glamorous title, but that only meant you were hotter than the blue-ribbon pig.
