As reported a few days ago, Lake Bell and Colin Farrell are dating. Lake Bell is quickly becoming one of my favorites. She’s thoroughbred all the way. These images are from an event back in April, but even then you can see that they are very close. Newsweek reports that the two are not only dating but planning to get married. Although this hardly qualifies as news, because the story is old, I just wanted an excuse to post some more Lake Bell pictures.

A girl friend of mine said she looks drunk in these pictures because her eyes are all red. I hadn’t noticed her eyes at all until she told me that. Speaking of eyes, Colin Farrell looks like a volatile mother fucker. I’ve never seen anyone who could simultaneously smile and threaten you with blunt force trauma with the same look. Dirty rotten scoundrel, Colin Farrell, who is fresh from rehab and filming Pride and Glory is reportedly ready to settle down with thoroughbred hotness Lake Bell. According to reports the two have been dating for months and have grown very close and are considering marriage.

According to newsweek.com, Farrell and Bell have been dating for months. A source said: ‘Colin is a changed man since he went into rehabilitation in December and he wants to find someone to settle down with. In the last five years he’s found it hard to settle down but he says that Lake has been his rock and he can’t live without her.’(source)

Actress Lake Bell (NBC’s Surface) is set to appear in the the upcoming film about police corruption, Pride and Glory starring Colin Farrell, Ed Norton and Noah Emmerich. The part of the family partriarch of a cop familiy originally slotted for Nick Nolte will now be played by Jon Voight due to Nolte’s debilitating alcoholism recent knee injury.

Variety reports that Oscar winner Jon Voight has been tapped to replace Nick Nolte in New Line’s Pride and Glory, which is now shooting in New York under the direction of Gavin O’Connor.

Voight will play the patriarch of a family of cops. The cast includes Colin Farrell, Edward Norton, Samantha Morton, Lake Bell and Noah Emmerich.(source)

I’ll probably go see this movie because I like cop dramas (if only there were a cop drama musical, sigh), and I like Ed Norton. That said, I hear from a reliable source that this movie will be rated NC-17 because of the gratuitous full frontal nude scenes by Lake Bell, who will occupy the screen 86% of the time. And by reliable source, I mean my penis.

“Surface” is an expansive drama series that centers on the appearance
of mysterious sea creatures in the deep ocean — and tracks the lives
of a variety of characters.

I usually go for the sci-fi genre, being a quantum physical chemist and all, so this show seemed right up my alley. The heroine of the show Dr. Laura Daughtry’s (Lake Bell) character is a refreshing take on the usual stereotypical “nerd-scientist” role normally seen in in the banal, hackneyed shows on prime time tv. And by refreshing, I mean she has ginormous boobies. Ginormous. And they’re always in center frame. The producers are not sexist though, the show portrays Daughtry as:

One thing they don’t keep under wraps? Right, her boobies. The entire show is shot in down south near Wilmington NC and the animal effects are developed in LA. Lake Bell reportedly doesn’t like the water so the scenes in the scenes on th boat were particularly hard to shoot.

“I’m not a big fan of the ocean because
I’m scared of what lies beneath,” Bell said recently during a break in
filming of NBC’s “Surface.” Among her fears: undertow and Portuguese
man-of-war jellyfish.

“But as a pseudo-action star, I have to jump in … to literally jump in and go,” she said.

And on “Surface,” that means working on the water – be it in the ocean, on a boat or hanging out poolside.
