Also, I'm not saying that people can't be insane, or that bipolar mania is a real condition (for less than 1% of the population), I'm saying that like ADD, and ADHD (et al), bipolar mania and bipolar disorder is WAY over diagnosed to fill a parenting or social mores void. It's too easy to say, 'hey I was an asshole because I need meds'. Not just , 'hey, I'm an asshole, period'. The sooner people start taking up for their actions the better.
