If you don’t watch it, don’t bother – you won’t get it. What you will get is that Anna Friel has a great rack and she’s British so that means she gets naked all time. Great though the show is, the (terribly bad) Dr Who spin-off Torchwood had the “bringing people back to life for one minute” concept a few years back.
Meanwhile the style of Pushing Daisys is more or less copying the wonderious “Amelie” movie.
Still, good show, just not as good as Dead Like Me, imho.

I find myself oddly attracted to her if only because shes a carbon copy of Zooey Deschenel with the american accent on. And Pushing Daisies is leagues ahead of Dead like me even though the style is admittedly unoriginal
