Actress Kate Hudson has reportedly split from her husband Chris Robinson, the lead singer for the Black Crowes.

Hudson’s spokesperson, Brad Cafarelli, has confirmed the split but has so far refused to give any further details.

Ironically, the 27-year-old actress recently claimed the perfect marriage doesn’t exist and that love is not enough to ensure a marriage survives.

She said: “I don’t like this idea of the perfect marriage. People can be in love madly and deeply and go through so much and still end up together. That’s what you hope for.”

The ‘Skelton Key’ star, the daughter of Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn, also warned prospective newlyweds that married life is not easy.

She explained: “No one should get married if they think it’s going to be a fairytale.” (source)

As a sexy southern rocker, I was really into the Black Crowes back in the day. My band didn’t do that well because I was too sexy and talented. Rockers have to be thin and emaciated with bad teeth, not athletic yet svelte, and ripped like me. Chris Robinson has always amazed me with his ability to maintain that ‘P.O.W. in a bamboo cage for 10 years‘ look, and still manage to have sex with Kate Hudson. There used to be rumors that the Black Crowes were into voodoo and black magic. Wait. They were married for 6 years and together for 1 before that, right? It all makes sense.
