As we know now – and as she stated on Letterman’s show on January 5, 2007 – the kiss was a surprise to her. She was the only female panelist on a discussion on terrorism being hosted by Limbaugh. He greeted each person before the event started and, to her surprise, he kissed her on the lips rather than on the cheek as she anticipated. The kiss is more than nothing – a tempest in a teacup.
