Lake Bell in Pride and Glory

Actress Lake Bell (NBC’s Surface) is set to appear in the the upcoming film about police corruption, Pride and Glory starring Colin Farrell, Ed Norton and Noah Emmerich. The part of the family partriarch of a cop familiy originally slotted for Nick Nolte will now be played by Jon Voight due to Nolte’s ~~debilitating alcoholism~~ recent knee injury.

Variety reports that Oscar winner Jon Voight has been tapped to replace Nick Nolte in New Line’s Pride and Glory, which is now shooting in New York under the direction of Gavin O’Connor.

Voight will play the patriarch of a family of cops. The cast includes Colin Farrell, Edward Norton, Samantha Morton, Lake Bell and Noah Emmerich.(source)

I’ll probably go see this movie because I like cop dramas (if only there were a cop drama musical, sigh), and I like Ed Norton. That said, I hear from a reliable source that this movie will be rated NC-17 because of the gratuitous full frontal nude scenes by Lake Bell, who will occupy the screen 86% of the time. And by reliable source, I mean my penis.
