Actor Chris Penn was found dead in his Santa Monica condo yesterday. Police have not released many details about the circumstances surroundng his death.

Penn’s body was discovered in a bed inside the residence, located in a
four-story complex near the beach on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, said
Capt. Ed Winter of the county coroner’s office. Authorities were called
to the condominium complex by Penn’s housekeeper, Winter said.

On Tuesday night, actor Martin Sheen left the condominium complex from a rear exit with two older women but did not comment.

Chris has always been a favorite of mine. He was great as Willard in Footloose, and in Mulhulland Falls, even in the bit part as Nicky Dimes in True Romance. But I think everyone will remember him as Nice Guy Eddie Cabot in Resevoir Dogs.
