Aussies Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are reportedly planning to get married on the island nation of Fiji.

I had never even really heard of Keith Urban until he started dating Nicole, and my first impression of him was sheer fright. He’s a very scary looking man. He’s like that girl you walk up to at a bar and you offer to buy her a drink but then she turns around and it’s Willie Nelson. Then you have that split second of shame and confusion, and then you still buy him a drink anyway. But you’re not gay or anything. Guys can shower together. I mean, right? Whatever. Fiji seems like cool place to get married, though. I checked to see where it was using Google maps and it turns out that Fiji is farthest distance away from any location no matter where on the earth you leave from.

You should find out a bit more about Mr Urban before posting such ignorant comments. He is a very fine looking man who many a woman swoon over. From what I know of him, he has an amazing soul as well. He is also, above all else, a highly talented, better yet, gifted, musician who can rip a guitar with the best of them. Nicole would be blessed to have such a man in her life.

Yeah. That’s what I hear from my lady friends. I saw him play guitar on the RMA’s…pretty impressive. As for my comments…ignorance is bliss, but bliss doesn’t pay the bills.

How wrong can one person be. You must not know your country music very well. He has been on CMT Country Music Station for years. He was at one time a Rock singer in Australia where he did form a drug habit that he kicked and came to the U.S. to reclaim himself as a musician. It didn’t take the world long to figure out how talented he was. He plays the guitar and the banjo. He has more than redeemed himself as an artist. He also won the award for Artist of the Year from CMT Awards. Everyone makes mistakes and you shouldn’t have to keep paying for it long after it’s over.

Just correcting T.J.Crocster’s comments. Keith Urban, as gorgeous a he is, was NEVER a rock star in Australia…I have his first album, its decidedly country. He developed his drug problem in Nashville after he moved there and couldn’t take all the rejection because his sound wasn’t conservative enough. I don’t think he cares particuliarly which genre he fits into, he just plays the incredible music. His accent is much more Australian at his live shows than it was 2 years ago…he can probably afford to be an Aussie now, people would still go to the gig.
I’m not surprised some people haven’t heard of him, most of my friends haven’t even heard of Jimmy Buffet!!! The two best concerts I’ve ever been to 1: Keith Urban and 2:The Cat Empire.

Nicole Kidman is gorgeous, and very funny and likeable…and at least she doesn’t look like a fat-lipped duck. Must be very difficult to develop relationships with men, if, whenever you go for a motorcycle ride people marry you off.
This relationship looks pretty real, however, more fun for anyone to walk around the streets looking scruffy in a beanie-hat…and not have that whole Tom Cruise “entourage-sideshow” thing going on!

I am thrilled to hear Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban may be marrying. She seems like such a down-to-earth and very talented. When she is in a movie her performaces are amazing. I also believe she had a difficult time with Cruse, even though she has handle that relationship with such grace. Keith Urban writes and sings the most lovely songs. Each one has touched my heart so many times. He also seems to be a very stable person. Someone who has not let “celebrity” become an anchor but rather wings.
In my opinion, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban deserve all the love and joy that we would wish to anyone we know in our own lives. It does not matter how high a person flys in life, they should be able to enjoy every minute of the ride with someone who they love sharing it with them. If the “rumor” is true, I say may God Bless their union and lead them and bless them with wonderful gifts of Joy.

Keith Urban is one of the most talented country/rock artist around. He creates sounds from his guitar and his voice that would make a non-country listener stop to take it in. However, since he is turning hollywood on us by marrying what I consider a fake person (NICOLE) his talent may never change but the preception of his fans may. Should you ever listen to what talent he has by the words he writes, it is a waste for him to marry such a superficial person such as her. Oh love is blind and time will tell…… Keith is also very good looking, no plastic surgery done to him all natural……

I think that Keith and Nicole shouldnt get married.Keith is a good man and Nicole is a good woman. i just think it wont work out.Everyone knows they will and up like Kenny Chesney and Renna Z. I mean Nicole and Renna are both actrisses and Keith and Kenny are both country singers.So i think Keith and Nicole will end up like Kenny and Renna.

I agree! I have been a KU fan for many years now! He won the coveted and much respected CMA award for best male and best entertainer 2 years running. I honestly disagree with some of you because if you ask me Nicole and Keith are not a good match because Nicole is only going to use Keith and Nicole does not deserve Keith because as talented as he is his popularity will go down because when and if Nicole hurts him and the people that hate Nicole knows that she will hurt Keith will be after her
