Melissa George can act

Australian hotness Melissa George is in the new movie “Derailed” with Clive Own and Jennifer Aniston. Most of you that own TV’s will remember her as Michael Vaughn’s duplicitous wife in Alias but she’ll always be the lesbian babysitter on Friends to me.In a recent interview with Coming Soon! she talks about the movie and discusses Alias and her possible return.

CS: Were you at all worried when you found out that Jennifer Aniston would be playing “the other woman”?
George: No, cause I worked with her on “Friends.” I played her
lesbian nanny. I love this girl so much. She was so good to me and
she’s so beautiful in person. I can’t even get over that. When you see
her physically, it makes sense. I was just like “Yeah, perfect. Great
casting. Really against type” and I loved the fact that I played his
loving wife.

CS: My editor will kill me if I don’t
ask any “Alias” questions, so having played his wife, what do you think
about the decision to kill off Michael Vartan’s character?

George: Well, they didn’t kill him off. He’s doing movies now.
Basically, when you kill a character off, it’s because they want to get
rid of you, but in this case, Michael went to do some movies and
thought it would be a better career for him.

CS: Do you think you’ll ever return for another episode or are you also pretty much set on doing movies now yourself?
George: I don’t know. I got shot so many times in the season
finale, but there’s talk. You don’t get lucky with movies. Movies are
very hard to get. They only make a few good ones a year and everyone
wants them. TV could be a great way to get employed over here, but I
decided to just give it a shot.

CS: Would you ever try to go back and do more TV even if it’s just
like a recurring role on a few episodes like you did on “Friends”?

George: Yeah, if it’s classy TV. If it’s HBO movies of the week
or if it’s “Alias”, absolutely! I would kill to go back on that show,
but if I hadn’t got “Amityville Horror” and “Derailed” and this other
Brazilian film I just finished up, I’d probably do TV.

The Brazilian film she is referring to is called Turistas and according IMDB it is movie about

A group of young backpackers’ vacation turns sour when a bus accident
leaves them marooned in a remote Brazilian jungle that holds an ominous
secret.

I wrote a screenplay that sounds exactly like that except I would change backpackers’ vacation to my last long term relationship and bus accident to transvestite and Brazilian Jungle to…wait it was the Brazilian Jungle.Whatever. Nevermind. Anyway, in case you haven’t already done a Google image search for these, here are some not even close to being safe for work pictures of Melissa George and all her manly-last-name naked glory.
