Katie Holmes likes to knit

Katie "Kate" Holmes is settling in to her pregnancy. In a recent article the actress is reportedly learning to knit.

Holmes, 26, confirms that they’re prepping their nursery and other baby essentials in anticipation of the happy event.

“We’re so excited … I’m beaming and I’m just so excited. He’s thrilled,” Holmes was quoted as Zap2it, as saying.

“We’re getting that together, and I’m learning how to knit,” she added.

Apparently, the celebrity couple’s wedding plans are still in their infancy.

“We don’t have a date just yet, but there is so much excitement going on. It’s just amazing,” she concluded.

I am amazed that anyone would try to learn to knit when there are thousands of laborers looking for the opportunity to stitch your clothes in the new factory I work at. Oh, but I would replace laborers with ’slaves’ and factory with ’sweatshop’. The side benefit is that you can churn your own fresh creamery butter. Wait. What?
