So remember a year ago, when I told you guys that Ryan Reynolds was tapping Scarlett Johansson? Turns out I was not only right about that, I also successfully predicted that the highest possible dimension in string theory is 10. On a related note, Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson are engaged. Coincidence? Fuck no.

Johansson, 23, and Reynolds, 31, who have been dating since Spring 2007, are engaged, their rep confirms to Usmagazine.com. Reynolds was engaged to singer Alanis Morissette. They split in February 2007 after four years together. Johansson was previously dating Josh Hartnett. (Us)

The thing that really stands out about this story is how Us magazine CTRL-B’d the names of everyone except the two people the article was about. Bolding is an important typographical modifier. It should not be taken lightly. My stars… typesetting humor. Is there nothing I can’t do? I live life in italics, baby.

Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman are on the cover of the New W Magazine and they look serious. Serious about being a Hot New Duo! That’s sounds way sexier than it really is. In the article inside both ladies defend statments they made about being slutty, then try to act like they’re not slutty.

SCARLETT JOHANSSON

“I’ve been battered for saying that I don’t believe humans are monogamous by nature. The response was, like, ‘What a ho-bag!’ I didn’t mean that I don’t practice monogamy in my own life—of course I do! I’m not going to be in some tarty relationship. But I stick by what I said. I remember another time, I said I get tested for AIDS twice a year, and again that got spun as me being promiscuous. But I was single at the time, and I think it’s important to do that!”

Both of these actresses are very serious about their craft, but the thing that really stands out to me is how close their boobies are to touching in this picture. Sometimes it’s life’s little subtleties that keep me going back to doing coke off a stripper’s ass every night.

Okay, so there’s no breaking news, it’s just an excuse to feature Scarlett’s lovelies. Apparently, she is worried her career will not last much longer. She also disclosed she’s a big fan of Uma Thurman’s body. Clearly, Scarlett has never stepped foot in front of a reflective surface.

The 22-year-old actress, who starred in her first film aged just 12, admits she fears every film will be her last. Scarlett said: “Do I ever get nervous about this, right now, being the pinnacle of my career? Yeah I do. At the end of every movie I think ‘Wow - this is the last one! Nice working with you.’” Meanwhile, Scarlett has revealed she thinks Uma Thurman has the perfect body. The blonde actress was blown away by the ‘Kill Bill’ star’s amazing physique when she first saw her on the big screen.

Funny. “Peaked too soon” is usually used in conjunction with the men who watch Scarlett’s movies. Uma is cool if you’re into super-slim kung-fu slayers, but I think Scarlett’s killer rack and accepting attitude jet her above the competition and into the rotation of my Vegas fantasies. “What happens in Vegas….stays with you until the antibiotics kick in.” They conveniently leave that out of the commercials. Stupid girl in the cowboy hat riding a horse.
