Balloon Boy’s Dad is Going to Jail

The father of America’s so-called ‘Balloon Boy’ has surrendered himself to police. Richard Heene is pictured here in his booking photo / mugshot at Larimer County Detention Center in Colorado after turning himself in on Thursday. He and wife Mayumi are expected to plead guilty to a hoax – in which they claimed son Falcon had floated away in a balloon in October – when they appear in court on Friday November 13.
