DJ AM is Dead

The tabloids were pretty dead this past weekend until I logged on to Twitter.com and saw “RIP DJ AM” as a trending topic. Out of the blue DJ AM who recently was one of the two survivors of a very violent plane crash died of a crack/cocaine overdose. I won’t write anything mean about DJ AM here like I did with Michael Jackson because I actually like DJ AM even though I have never been to a club where he was deejaying.

This deeply affected Blink 182 as well, as Travis Barker their drummer was the other only sole survivor of that same plane wreck. It is rumored that Travis kept breaking down in tears during their last show because the news was too overwhelming. I don’t really blame him. I never had a close friend die but if they did I am sure I would be distraught. So R.I.P. DJ AM. I hope you spin some mad beats for Ted Kennedy in heaven.
