There is going to be a memorial service for the King of Pop Michael Jackson this Tuesday as I am sure you have heard. AEG Live who owns the Staple Center decided to give away tickets to the memorial service instead of selling them. Over 1.6 million people registered but only 8,750 actually got tickets. Some people are selling their tickets for a healthy profit on eBay and others are thrilled to receive this gift and are going to the memorial themselves.

I work part time at the Staples Center so while everyone else is mourning and crying, I will be the guy in the stands saying “hot dogs, cotton candy, get your cold beer here”. Sure I will do a bit of crying tomorrow. I always cry when I don’t make over $40 in tips.
