Joanna Pacitti, a semi-finalist on American Idolhas officially been replaced by Felicia Barton. Fox Network has not told the public as to why she is being dropped but rumors are circulating that the reason for the dismissal was because she had connections with some of the executives at American Idol.  This just proves that American Idol could give a shit less about real talent.

Joanna actually had a bit of a brush with fame with her 2006 album with Geffen Records. No word on what the cd was called or what singles were released from that cd but leave it to Star magazine to leave the juicy stuff out. American Idol could do this girl a world of wonder if they actually put her through but Idol execs are so determined to prove that the show isn’t rigged that they drop someone who actually had a chance to win. I have been inclined to think for years that American Idolis a rigged show. Take Sanjaya for example. Oh sweet Sanjaya. That dude sucked at singing but they kept him around because he brought in ratings. Most of that is because of votefortheworst.com, which is a killer site, but it brought in votes and kept the ratings up. Someday this season we will see a d-list singer win the show and no one will buy their albums. Kind of like David cook. I ama  huge fan of his but his albums sales have been pretty poor. The only 2 singers that actually had a real career after Idolis Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. And that is about where the ball drops.
