Like me, Petra Nemcova is all too aware of the pressures of modeling.

Petra Nemcova knows what it’s like to struggle to stay thin and continue modeling. “I’m naturally more curvy, so I always had to lose weight,” the 27-year-old Czech supermodel says in People magazine’s Oct. 2 issue, on newsstands Friday. “I took laxatives. I went through all of it just to be able to model.”

I did the modeling thing once. The local JC Penney was hosting teen fashion week and I was amongst 10 of the prettiest, unpregnant girls in my hood, a rarity, as it turns out. It paid damn well too, $10 a show and free lunch tickets to the food court. Now I just make my money knockin’ over laundromats. Do you have any idea how much a washer is worth on the black market? Maybe I’m sharing too much with you people.
